Dance-inducing Gold Coast sci-funk electro-rockers Super Massive will play at Last Night on Earth on September 7 – and entry is free! Super Massive is the creative partnership of funky drummer, composer and producer Glenn Abbott and singer-songwriter Malina Hamilton-Smith.

The pair formed Super Massive when they discovered a shared love of vintage 70s funk and disco and a common vision of creating a true 50/50 blend of electronic dance music and rock. Guitarist Tyr Kovacic joins the pair onstage, bringing the blistering funk and rock guitar that makes up a big part of their unique dance-rock sound.

The band has spent six years touring Australia and Asia and played numerous festivals including Australia Day in The Rocks, BigSound, Surry Hills Festival, Sea Festival Vietnam and the 1000th Anniversary of Hanoi.
