Sunday Sounds Aussie Edition at Sanctuary Cove

If you are looking for an escape from the excitement of the Commonwealth Games, Sanctuary Cove will be a beacon of solace and sensational live music as Sunday Sounds takes over The Marine Village. This Sunday (April 8), the ever-popular event is celebrating all things green and gold with headline act, ARIA award-winner Russell Morris.

Best known for his string of popular songs including ‘Hush’, ‘The Real Thing’, ‘Sweet Sweet Love’, ‘Wings of an Eagle’ and ‘The Girl That I Love’, Russell is a much-loved Australia singer and songwriter who has been producing hits since the late 1960s. Having most recently released the third and final album in his series of Australian stories, Red Dirt – Red Heart, Russell’s songs embody the Australian spirit as he sings of bushrangers, memorable Australian towns, the iconic Australian landscape and shares the stories of indigenous heroes.

In addition to some seriously sweet tunes, there are plenty of family-friendly activities on offer so grab a picnic blanket and get along to Sunday Sounds Aussie edition.
