We all know St Patrick’s Day shenanigans can carry on for more than a day — which is why D’Arcy Arms Irish Pub in Surfers Paradise is stepping things up this year and throwing a three-day festival to celebrate.

Irish ex-pats and patrons who simply love the chance to dress in green and indulge in a few pints of lager or cider will want to put the St Patrick’s Festival on their social calendar. On Saturday 14, Sunday 15 and Tuesday 17 March, the Irish pub will host live Irish music and dancing, plus a marquee bar, spit roast, traditional Irish fare and more. The live music lineup includes the legendary Tartan Shamrock, The Gathering, Darren Gallagher, Mark Butler & Salliana and Munster Bucks, while the McNeill Academy and Carolan Academies of Irish Dance will be handling the spirited dancing performances. In addition to the non-stop entertainment, D’Arcy Arms will be dishing-out popular Irish cuisine, including beef and Guinness stew, McDonnell’s chicken curry and battered sausage with curry sauce.

You can catch the entertainment, food and drink at D’Arcy Arms from 12:00 pm on the Saturday and Sunday, and 10:00 am on Tuesday, the official St Patrick’s Day.
