Spirit of Whale Watching Season

Spirit of Whale Watching Season

Whale watching season has splashed down for Spirit of Gold Coast after its eagle-eyed crew spotted the first migrating humpbacks breaching off the Coast last month. Promising to have its guests whale watching within minutes of passing through the Seaway, Spirit of Gold Coast is a 24-metre catamaran offering 360-degree viewing from its upper and lower decks.

And although she’s equipped to carry 170 passengers, Spirit of Gold Coast takes a maximum of 145 guests on board to ensure everyone has an opportunity to see the whales and to capture their unique memories in comfort.Spirit departs from Mariners Cove Marina at Main Beach each day at 9:30 am, and guarantees that if its guests don’t see a whale, they will receive a free ticket to return another day. Guests enjoy 2½ to 3 hours of whale watching, a marine life tour and morning tea.

Tickets cost $59 for kids aged 4 to 14, $79 for students and seniors and $99 for adults, while family packages cost $236 for two adults and two children. For more information or to book your whale watching expedition, visit spiritwhalewatching.com.au or phone 07 5572 7755.
