Sleeper Hit, with support from Girl and Girl, will perform in the HOTA Basement on June 21. Singer-songwriter Zedekai Butel had been doing the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast cafe circuit for a number of years but he was always keen to get a band going. Amassing a back catalogue of recordings and writings but never quite confident enough to release anything, Zedekai continued to write and gig, while jamming with drummer Alex Khoo.

Last December, the opportunity to get in the studio with Brisbane producer Alex Henrikkson resulted in the single Market Fair, which came out in February. Isaac Theisson jumped on bass and Sleeper Hit was formed. Head on down and check them out!
