San Valentino Six-Course Valentine’s Day Dinner

This Valentine’s Day, Ristorante Fellini is turning on the charm with a sumptuous six-course ‘San Valentino’ degustation menu. The meal will begin with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and delicious home-made crusty bread served with a dish of extra virgin olive oil, roasted garlic and aged balsamic vinegar.

Next, diners will be treated to Pane Casareccio – chilled watermelon consomme with compressed watermelon and balsamic pearls. This will be followed by Zuppa Fredda di Anguria e Balsamico – a fresh east coast Australian king prawn salad with garlic, lemon, parsley, potato, green beans, black olives, celery, heirloom tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and pepper.

Pappardelle al Ragu di Anatra – wide long pasta cooked with a slow twice-cooked duck and vegetable ragu with fresh herbs and finished with pecorino cheese will then be served.

Diners will refresh their palette with a lemon and champagne sorbet granita before indulging in their choice of three main dishes:

• Salmone Croccante e Zucchini – crispy skin grilled Atlantic salmon with zucchini, cauliflower puree and extra virgin olive oil; or
• Costolette D’agnello con puree di Piselli e Melanzane Fritte – rosemary and pepper crusted lamb rack with pea puree, fried eggplant in tomato and basil; or
