LEGO Robina Town Centre

Rebuild the World with LEGO at Robina Town Centre

With approximately 400 billion bricks circulating globally (that’s roughly 80 for every person on earth!) there’s no denying that LEGO is still the world’s hottest toy brand. And now, local school holidaymakers can get their hands on thousands of LEGO bricks (without creating a painful trip hazard for mum or dad) as Robina Town Centre unveils its brand new school holiday program.

Rebuild the World with LEGO will arrive at Robina Town Centre from Monday 27th June to coincide with the winter school holidays, delivering two not-to-be-missed weeks of FREE good ol’ fashion family fun with a modern twist, while also offering up the opportunity to meet some legendary LEGO characters too. The latest global campaign from LEGO will see budding LEGO enthusiasts collaborate to ‘rebuild the world’, celebrating children as the masters of creative problem solving who can achieve incredible things when working together to overcome challenges.

Located outside Myer on Ground Level and running from 10am – 2pm daily, shoppers will be enraptured by the vibrant and purpose-built LEGO play zone, where colour, creativity, imagination and team work blend to create the ultimate school holiday experience. Harnessing the concept of creativity and play as the key to self-expression for our youngsters, Robina Town Centre’s Rebuild the World will give locals the opportunity to contribute to an enormous, progressive build table, adding their own unique creations to the community-style piece for others to then add to as well.

From towering sky-scrapers and city skylines, to sprawling forests and a whimsical pink island where unicorns roam, creators can have a hand in co-constructing one or all of the themed building zones as they unlock their imaginations with all the LEGO blocks they’ll need. The interactive LEGO zone will also play host to special appearances from popular LEGO friends each weekend (Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July), including meet-and-greets with LEGO Batman and LEGO Batgirl. And don’t forget to BYO camera to snap a pic with these life-size, crime-fighting heroes as they wander throughout the mall.

So regardless of whether you have a toddler, tween or teen in tow – or, let’s be honest, just about anyone of any age can get in on this activity because who doesn’t love a little LEGO?! – this is certainly a family-friendly affair.
