Surfing Queensland is back with the most dogtastic event of the year – Pups on SUPS 2018! In addition to bringing bucket-loads of cuteness your way with actual pups on actual SUPS (or stand-up paddle boards for the uninitiated), the event is designed to cater to the whole community and encourage a fun-filled day out with your furry best mate, friends and family. There will be a two-kilometre social paddle as well as a 500-metre dash for cash where entrants can score themselves and their pooch some sweet sweet moolah. Rent a SUP on the day for $15 for two hours, or if you are in a zen mood join in on doggy yoga!

Ezydog, Speaqua and Bad Wolf Boutique will all be offering some excellent prizes and $5 of your entry fee will be going towards charity partner Animal Welfare League Queensland. Chris De Aboitiz of Supdogoz is a professional SUP dog trainer and will be there to teach all pooches how to safely get on their sup (also some tricks too). 

For the non-canines, there will be caffeinated beverages and acai bowls so even if you’re not entering the race, you can come down and enjoy a fun-filled day by beautiful Broadwater Parklands.
