Party in the Park at HOTA

Live music, a sausage sizzle, and family time – your Sunday arvo, sorted. Get your friends and family together for a Party in the Park with gigs from great bands, snags and wrap up your weekend with live entertainment and some quality family time.

The first event, with the incredible Electrik Lemonade, sold out in record time, as did the party with Brazilian samba-rock groovers Zambabem and the Father’s Day celebration with The Brothers Calling.
Now, join us for some groovy tunes with The Waves, an eclectic bunch of musicians with a dynamic range of musical styles and tastes. Circus performer Emma Black will be turning up the fun factor with Hip Hoop Hooray, a hooping performance pre-show and at interval, followed by a mini hooping workshop (with the chance to win your very own HOTA hula hoop). To add to your day, why not stop by the Somerset Storyfest pop-up area, perfect for young visitors aged 3–7. Grab a colouring-in page, select a book from the Little Lending Library, or join the Storyfest mini band by choosing a tambourine, maraca or xylophone to play.

Presented by HOTA, Home of the Arts
