Our Landscapes: Native Songs and Dances for Flute and Harp

Our Landscapes: Native Songs and Dances for Flute and Harp

Returning home from Europe, Australian musicians Domenica Musumeci (harp) and Jonathan Henderson (flute) will tour across South-East Queensland. In an intimate one-hour recital, lyrical poems of France (Cras, Debussy, Fauré) and vibrant Eastern Hungarian dances (Bartók, Monti) encounter music influenced by the Simori mountain people of Papua New Guinea and North Indigenous Australian chant (Sculthorpe).

Our Landscapes shares musical contrasts spanning four distinct cultures, unified by the sound of flute and harp.
