Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer-drinking festival and this year, Black Hops Brewing is keen to celebrate with its own spin. Oktoberfest is all about celebrating traditional German History, the changing of the seasons, the leaving of September and the coming of October and most importantly, beer!

As much as the brewery likes to experiment with added flavours and crazy styles, sometimes going back to the basics and its forefather recipes not only pays homage but reminds us of just how far beer has come. Brewed specifically for and tapping on the day, Black Hops will use four key ingredients (water, malt, hops and yeast) to release three German-inspired beers – a Hefferweizen, a Kolsch and a Munich Dunkel. Alongside them will also be the return of the Rauchbier Smokescreen.

Attendees can also enjoy German eats from the Gunter’s Flammkuchen food truck on the day. Prost!
