Starting from humble beginnings, the picturesque village of Mullumbimby hosts the Mullum Music Festival, which has evolved into one of the most successful boutique festivals in the country. There’s no gates, no big international headlines, no VIP areas and no tents, rather, the festival runs wild and utilises existing venues and public spaces. The music rolls into the streets with buskers perched on each corner and circus performers roving amongst revellers. It is, in every sense, a community festival.
