The northern Gold Coast’s newest community – The Surrounds – will host a movie night under the stars on Friday May 18 so grab a picnic rug and get along for a free family-friendly evening out. The giant screen will be positioned at the heart of Villawood Properties’ Helensvale community, with food trucks, face painting and pop-corn for locals to enjoy.

Kicking off at 5:45 pm, there will be plenty of time to grab some dinner, and warm up those hands with a hot beverage before settling in for the 6:30 pm screening of Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Be sure to BYO picnic blankets, chairs or bean bags.
