Meta Weiss is one of the most talked about new talents in the Australian classical music scene, arriving here in 2015 direct from completing her doctorate at the Juilliard school in New York to take up a post as head of cello at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Her career has already taken her to the world’s biggest stages including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, Symphony Hall Boston, the Royal Albert Hall in London and many others.
