A Long Table Beneath The Southern Sky with Gold Coast Astronomy

A Long Table Beneath The Southern Sky with Gold Coast Astronomy

Gold Coast Astronomy is hosting A Long Table Beneath the Southern Sky!

Reserve your seat at a long table beneath the southern sky to delight in the wonders of the cosmos at a dinner with Beechmont’s local amateur astronomer, John McDonald.

Your evening will begin with a warm welcome, a complimentary glass of wine and canapés before taking your seat at the long table. Then, whilst you’re enjoying a glass of your choice of beverage with your tasty main course, John will captivate you in a talk featuring stories and highlights of the southern celestial hemisphere. After the delicious dessert is served, John’s guided tour of what’s visible in the moonless dark sky will commence followed by viewing of these prominent celestial bodies, through a selection of our telescopes, with your drink in hand.

We invite you to join us and enjoy a delicious meal, great conversations and the making of new friends across a long table, together with the answering and discussing of your many cosmos questions – it will make for an extraordinary night beneath the southern sky.
