Lobster Shack Pop-Up Restaurant

Lobster Shack Pop-Up Restaurant

Traditionally lobster, truffle and fancy champagne are associated with fine dining institutions where it’s probably not entirely appropriate to rock up barefoot straight off the beach, Lobster Shack is here to change that. Popping up in Queensland Avenue in Broadbeach (neighbouring Sage restaurant) for one month, the venue will dish up hot lobster rolls with truffle fries and Veuve Clicquot champagne for $35, or you can pair it with a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne for $50. The mouthwatering rolls feature hot wild-caught lobster tails, which are slow cooked in butter and served in a toasted brioche bun with a lashing of buttermilk slaw (helloooooo happiness!). The Lobster Shack is designed to give diners a taste of the finer things in life – lobsters, champagne and truffles – without having to pay hundreds of dollars. There is casual seating available. Lobster Shack is here for a good time not a long one so if you’re keen to treat your tastebuds to a fine dining experience without the fine dining price, pop in before January 28.

Hot tip – beat the crowd and order your lobster and champagne in advance via Menulog – just jump onto the website or the app and type in “20 Queensland Avenue Broadbeach and order ahead of time.
