Live On The Lawn

To welcome autumn with a bang, The Star Gold Coast has announced a season-long series of live and free music events with White Claw Hard Seltzer that will go down on The Lawn at Garden Kitchen & Bar every Thursday through to Sunday evening from March 25 to June 13. Kicking things off with a whole lot of energy on March 27 is legendary producer, songwriter, DJ and triple j-regular KLP, followed by a DJ set from Northeast Party House on April 3. Miami Horror [DJ Set] will keep the good times rolling on April 17 followed by indie-pop band, Confidence Man [DJ Set] on May 1.

Sydney’s Set Mo [DJ Set] will work crowds into a frenzy with dreamy soundscapes, groovy bass lines and sensual strings on May 15 and turning the heat up a notch (or ten) will be a DJ set from Bag Raiders [DJ Set] on May 29. Every other Saturday night will feature one of the purveyors of the underground electronic funk and soul scene, James Canning, on the decks, before Radio Metro DJs wrap up the party.

If your dance-floor antics have left you famished, the Container Kitchen will be serving up a delectable selection of Southern Californian-inspired eats including fried-cheeseburger dumplings (yum!), Jamaican jerk-chicken burgers and sweet-potato empanadas with spiced avocado dip. There’s also a penny pincher menu available on Thursdays, with a selection of snacks for just $5. Sounds pretty great, right?
