Presented by HOTA, the Little ArtLab series for children involves dress ups and a musical procession, followed by a making activity with a leading artist. This instalment of the creative experience will be led by artist Kuweni Dias Mendes over two dates, for an interactive and insightful activity day creating your very own bush brushes. After exploring the local parklands and a guided talk with Kuweni, you will have the opportunity to create artwork using your bush brush in the studio. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Kuweni Dias Mendes now resides in the natural wonderland of Beechmont and seeks inspiration from these surroundings. Bringing these influences to the ArtLab session, you can expect a truly special day of exploration, creativity and learning together.
