Are you ready for some fun? Elk Espresso is hosting its very first Latte Art Smackdown and it’s open to anyone and everyone to come and have a look. The Gold Coast is quickly becoming known for its cafe culture and coffee, and with great coffee, comes the skill of great latte art.

Thousands of coffees are poured everyday and this event is all about celebrating the free pour latte art so many GC baristas have honed. Watch as 16 baristas from some of your favourite cafes battle it out with their latte art. In each round, two competitors make a coffee and the best looking cup goes through to the next round until there’s a winner.
