Over the past decade, La Dispute has been responsible for some of the most uncompromising, experimental music and has carved a reputation as one of post-hardcore’s most singular voices – and its newest show is coming to The Coolangatta Hotel! The band’s newest album, Panorama, is perhaps its most diverse so far, carried by the strength of its musicians both individually and as a unit.

From its 2008 debut (in their current formation) Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair to 2011’s Wildlife and 2015’s Rooms of the House, La Dispute has continually pushed itself to find new ways to portray some of the most difficult and universally affecting subject matters. The band has developed a sound that, while constantly evolving, is unmistakably theirs.

Announcing its first Australian headline tour in over five years, La Dispute is playing a whopping 15 shows across the country. The band goes out of its way to make sure the shows are safe places where people can gather together, take care of each other while we listen to live music.
