Kids on Conservation Trail

The best way to learn is by making it loads of fun, and that’s exactly what the folks at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary have done with the Kids on Conservation Trail. Launching on August 6, the trail has been expertly crafted to showcase the range of conservation projects and wildlife breeding programs run by the teams at the sanctuary.

Young guests will set off on an adventure to follow footprints to 12 different locations across the park. At each spot they collect a stamp, learn about an endangered animal or discover more about a conservation program before continuing on the trail. A tour highlight includes the awesome opportunity to visit the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and see the vets doing their thing. As an added bonus, at the end of the trail they get a small gift to take home.

Participants can also share a ‘selfie’ along the trail with the #KidsConservationTrail hashtag to go in the draw to win a 1 year family National Trust Australia membership for 2 Adults and up to 4 Children for unlimited entry into Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Kids Conservation Trail is the perfect opportunity to check out some of the sanctuary’s hundreds of native Australian animals in the lush natural bushland and rainforest settings. To further celebrate the launch, the team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are offering a special online ticket price of $29* (save $20.95) until September 9, 2016.
