Winning Battle of the Buskers at the first Buskers by the Creek festival in 2014 kick-started Katie’s career and enabled the release of her first EP. Her single ‘The Wolves’ earned her recognition as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Later that year, Katie took her solo show international, playing at the Indie Week festival in Toronto, winning over hearts in Canada.

In 2018, Katie’s powerhouse performances were showcased in the Athletes Village at the Commonwealth Games and she was selected to play multiple shows at the Global Village at  Splendour in the Grass. This year has begun with shutter speed for Katie, after being selected as runner up in the Bluesfest Busking Competition, as the only solo artist in the top six finalists, sending her straight to the Delta Stage at Bluesfest.
