Australia’s ‘Queen of Boogie’, piano player Jan Preston, is bringing her new show 88 Pianos I Have Known to the Gold Coast on Wednesday May 6.

Known for her astonishing piano playing, original songs, compositions and mastery of boogie-woogie, Preston has a reputation for captivating audiences at festivals and in concerts around the world. Her latest live show 88 Pianos I Have Known takes audiences through her journey to piano stardom with an engrossing combination of skillfully performed piano music, images, songs and stories. There are 88 keys on every piano, but in reality, Jan Preston has known many more than that. During a lifetime of composing and songwriting, Preston has recorded and performed on 100’s of instruments, weaving tales around her boogie, ragtime and improvisatory styles of piano quartet and songs.
