In a new step for the gallery, incidence will include the following public programs:

  • incidence floor talk by Victoria Garnons-Williams, PhD on Friday October 9 at 5:00 pm
  • incidence artist talk on Saturday October 12 at 2:00 pm

Founded in 2011 and headed by local Christopher Mckenzie, Lmtdspace has grown from a small group of emerging artists coming together to create a range of exhibitions. This founding group’s mutual goal was to form a platform for freedom of self-expression through art, whilst also furthering the impact of artistic influence on Australia’s Gold Coast. Such has now developed into a gallery whose primary focus is to promote emerging contemporary artists, from the Gold Coast and beyond. Partnership with the Gold Coast City Council, via the Found Gold Coast program, gave the group an amazing opportunity to create a public forum for their goal, allowing for the birth of ‘Lmtdspace’, a pop up gallery located in the heart of Southport’s CBD, 32 Nerang St. Since opening their doors in August, the Southport based gallery has gone from strength to strength. Lmtdspace’s latest show, curated by Celise Gibson, will not disappoint.
