If you’ve been visiting the same places with the same people for as long as you can remember, it’s time to break the mould and broaden your horizons! This Saturday June 16, Mavis’s Kitchen & Cabins is hosting Ibiza & The Mountain micro-festival and bringing legendary music producer Jamie Porteous (who you may recognise from Groove Armada) fresh off the plane from Ibiza to get the party started.

Jamie will be joined by some musically minded mates who boast a collective resume that lists involvement with the likes of Yothu Yindi, Lady Hawke, Brian Ferry, Duran Duran, Groove Armada and Snoop Dogg, to name a few.

Feeling famished? Tuck into plates of street food from Mavis’s offering of tacos, paella and lamb sliders and wash it down with a Stone & Wood or, if you’re feeling a little fancy, up the ante with an Ink Gin from Husk Distillers or an espresso martini on tap in the pop-up bars. If you are planning on indulging in a beverage or two, there are return transfers available to pre-book with Mt Warning Tours for $15 per person from Tweed Heads or $20 per person from Currumbin Creek Road.
