Ladies and gents, take a trip down memory lane to the era of slicked hair, classic cars and raucous rockabilly at the Gold Coast Rockabilly Retro Car Show this weekend (August 11 and 12). There’ll be a plethora of classic and vintage cars filling the showgrounds alongside Hot Rods, panel vans, Kombis and retro caravans to ogle. Rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll bands will provide a fitting soundtrack to the weekend’s festivities and there’ll be food, drinks, carnival rides and even monster trucks and fireworks on the Saturday night.

The Gold Coast Rockabilly Retro Car Show is a fun-filled family affair and kids 12 years and under are free with paying adult. Vintage and retro attire is encouraged so dig out the red lippie and dapper duds and get along to Mudgeeraba Showgrounds.

If you’re keen to enter the car show, admission is $20.00 and includes all passengers, judging and trophy nominations.
