Gold Coast Open House is back! The doors of interesting, quirky and architecturally significant buildings and locations will be opened, inviting people from all walks of life to take a behind-the-scenes look at places not typically open for public viewing.
The history and heritage of the Gold Coast will be on display at this free event, where locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to delve into the past and glimpse the future of urban design on the Gold Coast. Gold Coast Open House provides the opportunity to explore these urban spaces and learn more about the Gold Coast’s history and future aspirations, and see how architecture and design have contributed to the city we know today.
Famous for its interwar and post-war development boom and tourism and recreational industries, the Gold Coast has a unique and varied array of buildings and places in comparison with many other major Australian cities. From cutting-edge architecture to some of the city’s precious heritage gems, Gold Coast Open House offers a fascinating journey of discovery for people of all ages.
