Girls Who Glow
On Sunday March 11, the Gold Coast will host its second Girls Who Glow Workshop, a fun-filled day designed to empower 13 to 17 year old girls to be their best, brightest, happiest and healthiest selves.
Hosted by popular Network Ten Presenter Liv Phyland, former Saturday Disney host, Teigan Nash, and Jules Sebastian from The Sebastian Foundation, this one-day workshop will focus on areas including nutrition, exercise, body image, social media, healthy relationships and mental health, with expert specialists present for each session.
Alongside Liv, Teigan and Jules is an amazing lineup of guest speakers including Health and fitness ambassador Kieron Douglas, inspirational speaker Emma Carey, former Home and Away actress Demi Harman, pro surfer Laura Enever, paralympian Monique Murphy and more to be announced soon! Each speaker will share their story, knowledge and insight, encouraging the girls to embrace their inner glow.
After an incredibly successful first workshop on the Gold Coast last September, Liv, Teigan and Jules look forward to returning to the sunshine state for another super fun day, jam-packed full of informative, inspirational, beneficial demonstrations, education and lots of yummy food.
Girls Who Glow Co-Founder Liv Phyland said the aim of the workshop is to give teens across Australia the tools to tackle issues they may face now and into the future by promoting positive health and wellness through fun, interactive and informative sessions.
“Being a teen can be hard so we want to help guide young girls through it and help them feel great in their own skin. We are beyond excited to be back on the Gold Coast and can’t wait to meet all the teens and help them find their inner glow,” Phyland said.
Tickets are $99 each, and this includes all the workshop activities, a star studded lineup of guest speakers, a delicious catered lunch and take-home goodie bag.
The workshop will be held on Sunday 11 March, doors at 9.30am for a 10am kick off at The Studio Upstairs in Burleigh Heads.
Stay tuned for more Girls Who Glow workshops in Wagga Wagga, Adelaide, Canberra and Newcastle to be announced soon as part of their Girls Who Glow roadtrip across Australia.
