Free Public Dance Workshop 1

Free Public Dance Workshop 1

Love a good daytime boogie? Get your weekend off to a stellar start and bust a move at a Free Public Dance Workshop in Justins Park in Burleigh Heads. Even if you are fairly certain you have two left feet and have absolutely no rhythm whatsoever, come along, learn some moves and meet the Everybody NOW team!

The event is part of a new large-scale public dance project (which is currently top secret), produced by Bleach* Festival to premiere at Festival 2018, part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. The crew are seeking Gold Coaster’s of all ages, backgrounds and dancing interests from bricklayers to baristas, schoolteachers to surfers, mums and dads, grans and great granddads.

The class will be led by dance captains and choreographers Bec Reid and Luke Smiles. These are fun, easy to follow along workshops for people who love to move and have a groove. No formal dance experience is necessary and the class is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. You can register your interest by emailing [email protected] or just turn up for a Saturday morning dance party!

Can’t make it? Don’t fret – Workshop 2 will be held on Saturday November 25.
