Father’s Day Gentlemen’s High Tea
Verandah Restaurant & Bar has tailored a bespoke Gentlemen’s High Tea exclusively for Father’s Day on Sunday 2 September. Executive Chef Matt Hart has put a gent’s twist on the traditional high tea, while ensuring that what is on offer is perfect for the whole family.
Following the traditional three-tiered stand, the Gentlemen’sHigh Tea commences tier one with milk chocolate panna cotta, amaretto jelly, almond crumble and caramel scotch truffle. In tier two, lady-like finger sandwiches are traded for gourmet lamb sliders, feta and baby spinach on charcoal brioche, accompanied by sweet potato fries and jalapeno aioli. The third tier contains Asian-inspired Korean spiced chicken wings and hot sauce with kimchi, alongside almond and potato croquette.
The Gentlemen’sHigh Tea is complete with a complimentary craft beer to mark the special occasion. Guests will indulge in an ale of their choice from the tap collection, with an additional variety of signature whiskeys also available.
