Emergence Showcase

Emergence Showcase

Join local artist Tracie Eaton at her Emergence Showcase for a wonderful evening of art, comedy, music and business, celebrating the raw beauty and strength of the female form through all things creative.
Emergence will see Tracie unveil her own incredible body of work, featuring an astounding and deeply personal collection of 40 pieces, encompassing body art, photography and painting.

While enjoying bubbly and canapes, guests will also watch on as six high-profile Gold Coast women, including Swell Sculpture Festival CEO Natasha Edwards, Blank Magazine & GC Music Awards director Amanda Gorman, Self-Love Movement founder Alana Arvanitis, photographer Jade Read, Susie Armsden and Patty-Ann Waho, transform into living works of art inspired by selected pieces from the Showcase.
The courageous female models will lay bare their inhibitions as their bodies are entirely painted in a vivid array of colours by local artists, including Dean Cogle, Dion Parker, Rebecca Cunningham, Kylie Findlay and Cheryl Hart.

The live painting reflects Tracie’s commitment to inspire every woman to embrace their own unique beauty, as guests will see each model’s vulnerability turn to strength throughout the evening. Guests will also be treated to fabulous live entertainment on the night courtesy of international comedian Fiona McGary and popular band Brown Suga.

Tracie has partnered with charity Opportunity International Australia to drive the economic empowerment of women in disadvantaged communities, with sale of artworks on the night supporting global microfinance funding and education programs delivered by the charity.
