Electrik Lemonade – Live at Bond

Electrik Lemonade – Live at Bond

Gold Coast soul band Electrik Lemonade will funk their way into the night as the headline act for Live at Bond following a whirlwind Australian tour.

The band will take to the stage as the sun sets on Bond University’s annual Twilight Open Day, which will include campus tours, installations, workshops, street food, bars, a series of live local acts and a fireworks display.

Electrik Lemonade is renowned for its visual and energetic shows, which has landed the band gigs on Triple J Unearthed, Sunrise, The Project, Toasted TV and international airplay in Europe, Asia and North America. Formed in December 2010, Electrik Lemonade is the brainchild of nine Gold Coast artists, who play a repertoire of original funk, blues, hip hop, soul and dance music.

Bond University will throw open its doors from 2:00 pm for its Twilight Open Day, with entertainment to commence at the ADCO Amphitheatre from 3pm, including DJ Nova and talented performers from All Saints Anglican School and Toowoomba Grammar School.

Electrik Lemonade will take to the stage from 6:30 pm, followed by fireworks over the lake at 8:00 pm. The whole family is invited to come along, bring a picnic rug, and enjoy the array of street food on offer from some of the Gold Coast’s most popular food trucks.

Twilight Open Day and Live at Bond are free, all-ages events. For more information, visit Bond’s website. To learn more about Electrik Lemonade, visit www.ElectrikLemonade.com
