Some of Australia’s most powerful female-fronted acts will descend on the Gold Coast for a kick-ass showcase of music for Electric Lady. As part of Festival 2018, the free event is designed to celebrate women in music and features an all-female pop/rock lineup including Meg Mac alongside hotly-tipped artists Nina Las Vegas, Wafia, Jack River and Kardajala Kirridarra.

Inspired by the movement of women electrifying their voices, guitars and rights across the world, Australian musician and curator Holly Rankin (aka Jack River) created the Electric Lady concept to elevate women in music and beyond, across industries such as science and sport.

Festival 2018 Gold Coast marks the first time Electric Lady will be staged in Queensland and will also feature interviews with some of the leading female athletes from GC2018.
