Eco Christmas Wreath Weaving Workshop at Biome

Eco Christmas Wreath Weaving Workshop at Biome

Be empowered to create completely biodegradable Christmas decorations this year in your home!

Learn how to weave beautiful eco-friendly Christmas wreaths using nothing more than sustainably foraged foliage from your own backyard.

Come along to this fun and engaging workshop and walk away with your very own hand-woven foraged Christmas wreath, ready to display at home. Emma from Cultivate Collective will explain the best types of foliage to use that are easily accessible in local backyards at this time of year. The hand-weaving technique means that your wreath will be made entirely of natural materials – no wire or tape (or even twine) necessary.

The weaving skills taught at the workshops are entirely transferable to any number of foliage and floral based projects – like all-natural flower crowns, garlands and table centre-pieces. Emma will also explain about responsible foraging techniques and the best types of foliage to use to create a dried, everlasting wreath. We will provide everything you need to create a beautiful wreath decorated with foraged seedpods, dried fruits, gumnuts and berries.
