Take a trip to the rolling hills of the Byron Bay hinterland for Dreamland – a dreamscape of life in regional Australia.

Animating stories across time, Dreamland transports us through different waves of settlement – from the Big Scrub, to hippies and tree-changers. It’s a celebration of place told through, song, dance and humour that explores how communities adapt to change and renew themselves.

Dreamland is an intimate performance, featuring a live music score, physical theatre and an incredible cast including Kirk Page, Toni Scanlon, Darcy Grant, Katia Molino and Phil Blackman.

In making Dreamland, NORPA Artisitic Director Julian Louis set about creating a unique, site-specific work that would unearth and tell the personal stories of community halls across time.
