Dogs on the Green

Love dogs? Us too! Let’s be friends. Dogs on the Green is a free community market for dog lovers. Bring your four-legged friend along for a fun day out to socialise with other dogs and support small businesses that specialise in products and services for your much-loved furry family. Dogs on the Green is the only regular doggie market on the Gold Coast. The event comprises of around 50+ stalls along with a great selection of food and drink vendors. There is a mobile dog groomer on site to freshen up your dog while you wander the market. For added piece of mind, Advantage EMT is on hand for any First Aid requirements for both humans and dogs. The Gold Coast City Council Animal Management will be attending to promote responsible pet ownership and answer any questions pet owners may have.

Attendees love the open space of the venue (Benowa State School’s sport’s oval) which enables dogs to socialise with plenty of room to move. Water bowls and shade are available when a rest is needed. There will also be a raffle to raise funds for rescue groups who attend on the day. The rescue groups attending this event are Westie Rescue QLD, Northern Rivers Greyhounds as Pets and QLD Staffy and Amstaff Rescue. This is a great opportunity for attendees to speak to the rescues about their wonderful work and how they may be able to help out through fostering and adoption.
