Rug up and join us on Saturday July 10 at Syd Duncan Park, Lower Beechmont from 6:30 pm to explore our beautiful home the Milky Way and our nearest neighbours the Magellanic Clouds.
From stunning nebulas to breathtaking clusters and galaxies, even Saturn and Jupiter will make a late appearance. John, our local amateur astronomer, will discuss these and many other deep sky objects the dark kky night will reveal.
The night will include a guided tour and telescope viewing of all the visible wonders the Southern Celestial Hemisphere has to offer this July.
Complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and soup will be provided throughout the night.
Gold Coast Astronomy ensures you memorialise your experience with a take-home star chart of the night, a summary of key visible celestial objects, and an opportunity to capture, with your mobile, your very own snaps through one of our telescopes.
Tickets will be available to purchase via EFTPOS on the night.
