David Lynch: Master Class

David Lynch: Master Class

David Lynch: Between Two Worlds explores the work of the renowned American artist and filmmaker. For nearly 50 years, Lynch’s innovative, influential and distinctive artistic output has been integral to his overall creative vision. Developed closely with Lynch, the QAGOMA exhibition is exclusive to Brisbane and includes more than 200 works, illustrating Lynch’s wide-ranging oeuvre — drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media, music, film and video.

As part of Lynch’s first visit to Australia, QAGOMA will be hosting the special event David Lynch: Master Class that will be live streamed from the Gallery to select regional Queensland venues, including Gold Coast City Gallery. During the event Lynch will take part in a conversation with the exhibition curator José Da Silva, Senior Curator and Head of Australian Cinemateque and discuss his approaches to painting, photography and printmaking, as well as offering the audience practical advice in terms of fostering creativity and working in the studio.
