Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan Australian Premiere at Event Cinemas Pacific Fair


Head over to Event Cinemas Pacific Fair on July 21 for the Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan Australian premiere, supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland and the Gold Coast Film Festival. Starring an outstanding Australian cast, including Travis Fimmel, Luke Bracey, Daniel Webber, Nicholas Hamilton, Stephen Peacock, Alexander England and Richard Roxburgh, the film is directed by Kriv Stenders (Red Dog) from a script by BAFTA award-winning Stuart Beattie (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black PearlCollateral and Australia).

Shot on location in South East Queensland and inspired by true events, the film is a nail-biting and dramatic exploration of war, illustrating heroism, camaraderie, tragedy and the sacrifice of battle. Guests for the premiere include veterans, dignitaries, cast and filmmakers. Attendees can view the red carpet arrivals from 3:15 pm, followed by a screening to the public from 4:30 pm with a special introduction.
