Currumbin Community Markets
If you’re someone who often has plans to wake up early on the weekend to browse your local farmer’s market but never actually makes it, the Currumbin Community Markets could be right up your alley. Held every Thursday from 6:00–11:00 am, the markets give locals the opportunity to buy fresh, seasonal produce direct from local farmers without having to deal with weekend leisure crowds. The event was created by two local Gold Coast mums who are focused on creating a true farmer’s market community by only allowing farmers who have a direct link to the produce they sell. The produce must be grown, raised, or caught by the individual farmer or the farmer has a direct link to the produce and can identify exactly where it comes from.
The Currumbin Community Markets are held directly across from the Currumbin RSL.
