Start your weekend early on April 29 by enjoying a Friday afternoon filled with delicious food and divine fashions at the multiple award-winning restaurant Carmody’s in Southport, it’s a fashionable, social outing you can’t go past.

The Cuisine & Couture luncheon commences at 12:00 pm with delicious Turkish bread served with semi-dried tomato and basil tapenade as an entrée. Then followed by an alternate main course of either Seared Salmon, Baharat spice, saffron poached cauliflower puree, sumac yoghurt, charred asparagus Or Chicken Breast stuffed with piquillo and smoky mozzarella, prosciutto shards, potato pave and broccolini.

An alternate dessert completes the fantastic meal, with Baileys cheesecake mousse, macadamia crumble, chocolate espresso cremeux Or Strawberry and pomegranate curd tart with torched meringue, candied pistachio.

Following the gourmet meal, is a fantastic show of fashion featuring garments and accessories from well-renowned Chevron Island boutique Rivereau who stock gorgeous imported and local women’s styles from brands including Joseph Ribkoff, Isabel de Pedro, Nu and Mariana Jewellery.

Also featured this month is a men’s fashion parade, showcasing wonderful designs from Urbanna men’s wear located in Surfers Paradise. Urbanna is a brand that bases its reputation on excellence and quality.
