Couch Talk | Opening event

Join us for a morning Couch Talk to discuss the exhibition Black Mist Burnt Country, a visual exploration of the British atomic tests in Maralinga.

The Arts Centre Gold Coast Indigenous representative Kyle Slabb will be joined by artist Ian Howard and exhibition curator, JD Mittmann to share their stories, histories and insights and how they resonate with us today. Everyone is welcome but bookings are essential. Morning tea provided.

Couch Talk is a public program in association with Black Mist Burnt Country on display at Gold Coast City Gallery (27 May – 9 July). This is a Burrinja Touring Exhibition. This public discussion is part of our Indigenous Program, proudly supported by Bond University.
