Brisbane City Youth Ballet (BCYB) is bringing their exquisite Cinderella production to The Arts Centre Gold Coast in the winter school holidays this July.

The cast is made up of 80 talented young dancers from throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales, ranging in age from 8 to 17 selected from 250 young hopefuls who auditioned late 2014.

Former Principal Dancer of the Queensland Ballet, Shane Weatherby, will guest star as Cinderella’s father. Talented 15yr olds Bianca Scudamore and Navrin Turnbull will dance the lead roles after representing Australia in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland and the Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) in New York.  Talia Fidra and Chloe Hollow will dance the role of the sisters after also representing Australia at YAGP in New York.

Max Hurley’s unforgettable sets and costumes combine with clever choreography to create a charming interpretation of this classic fairytale.
