Welcome in the 2015 Chinese New Year with a host of free family activities, including traditional lion dancing, fire cracker and kung fu displays, Chinese-inspired craft workshops, entertainment and authentic cuisine. From Thursday February 19 to Sunday February 22, The Marine Village at Sanctuary Cove will play host to a sensational four-day celebration. All ages can get involved in traditional Chinese activities and workshops with Griffith University’s Tourism Confucius Institute, which includes knot making, mask painting and Chinese calligraphy. Be entertained by exhilarating performances featuring colourful lion dancers, as well as a fire cracker and a kung fu display, at 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
