The Cuban in Broadbeach is filling the void between Christmas and Easter with carnival dancers every Friday night for the month of February. The event coincides with Rio Carnival and offers a little taste of Latin America with a fanciful banquet menu filled with festive fare including Cuba Libre cocktails, char-grilled chicken marinated in garlic, lime and cumin with mango salsa, and mojito cheesecake among the delights. The banquet menu is just $50 per person, definitely cheaper than an airfare to Brazil! If you prefer the freedom of choice, the a’la carte menu is also available on Friday night.
