Burleigh Brewing 18th Birthday Bash

Burleigh Brewing 18th Birthday Bash

Burleigh Brewing is thrilled to announce its 18th Birthday Bash, set to take place on Saturday, September 21 at its iconic Taphouse in Burleigh Heads. This landmark celebration will kick off at 4:00 pm following an early opening of the Taphouse at 12 PM, and promises an unforgettable evening filled with great beer, live music, interactive activities, and much more.

Burleigh Brewing started with a simple mission: to bring choice and quality beer to Queensland. Frustrated by the same generic lineup on tap in every pub, the founders set out to create a better option—brewing real, handcrafted beers that offered something different for the discerning beer drinker.

Burleigh Brewing was the creator of Australia’s first no carb beer, Big Head. Burleigh Brewing beers are slow brewed for pure, all-natural freshness. Slow fermentation means no creation of toxic alcohol compounds. Put simply, there’s no shit, no shortcuts – just real, expertly crafted beer that treats you right.

As part of the 18th birthday celebration, Burleigh Brewing is bringing back five iconic beers from our archives, spanning releases from 2006 through 2012. Among these legends is Duke Premium, the very first beer brewed back in 2006, a clean and refreshing lager that laid the foundation for everything Burleigh Brewing stands for today. Joining Duke is My Wife’s Bitter, an English-style ale brewed in 2008 that remains as cheeky and beloved as ever. For Hefeweizen lovers, Hef is making a triumphant return—the gold medal-winning wheat beer from 2009. And for those who like their beer with a twist, Black Giraffe—a bold Black Coffee Lager brewed with locally roasted Zarraffa’s Coffee—is back, stronger than ever since its 2010 debut. Last but not least, FIGJAM IPA, first released in 2012, is returning for all the IPA fans craving its big, bold flavours. These limited-release brews will be available on tap starting September 21st, with bottles available exclusively at the Burleigh Brewing Taphouse and online.
