Broadbeach Country Music Festival at the NightQuarter

Broadbeach Country Music Festival at the NightQuarter

The best country music stars around will hit the Gold Coast for the fifth annual Broadbeach Country Music Festival on July 28–30, 2017. Uniquely combining ‘Country with the Coast’, the beachside event is free to attend, showcasing premier country music performers on a number of outdoor stages and in venues throughout the entire Broadbeach precinct.

Broadbeach Country Music Festival is bringing a special preview night to the Northern Gold Coast as a precursor to the music festival in Broadbeach. NightQuarter will host two acts from the festival lineup to give you a taste of what’s in store!

Featuring:
Tomato Tomato
Don’t let the name fool you, Tomato/Tomato is not your garden variety duo. John and Lisa craft clever and quirky songs that draw on traditional Folk, Bluegrass, Blues and Swing with their own interesting twist. Lisa performs on an old washboard rigged up with tin cans and a cymbal while simultaneously playing bass and snare drums with her feet. She truly takes multitasking to a new level! Tight harmonies, old-timey guitar and Lisa’s up-cycled percussion create an unmistakeable sound that is unique, refreshing and fun. Really, really fun! Don’t miss them live in The Paddock.

Round Mountain Girls
No stranger to our main stage Round Mountain Girls will be back again. They’ve graced the stages of Bluesfest, Port Fairy, Woodford, Gympie Muster, Urban Country, Mud Bulls, Caloundra and Tamworth music festivals as well as some of the most prestigious venues in the nation, rubbing shoulders with the best acts Australia has to offer…. welcome to the world of Round Mountain Girls.
