Bleach* Boulevard

Bleach* Boulevard

Great food, live music, fun stuff for the kids, and much, much more …

It’s one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic locations, steeped in history, soaked in sunshine, flanked by leafy green bushland surrounds and a haven for native wildlife. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the perfect place to enjoy nature at its quintessential ‘Bleach*’ best.

Spend the morning exploring Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, then settle back for an unmissable afternoon, complete with a range of food stalls, live music and activities for the kids, including Funshine and Friends, the Sanctuary’s own Blinky Bill and the Jellurgal Aboriginal dancers.

The Bleach* Festival Ants and Fish-out-of-Water will be right at home at the Sanctuary when they make a guest appearance to thrill the kids.

The music line-up at Bleach* Boulevard kicks off early afternoon with cute and quirky Emily, followed by the banjo plucked stories and lush husky vocals of Tom Dodd & Shooty.

Next on the program is Mt Tamborine singer songwriter Creature Kind, whose music glides between indie rock, electronic and acoustic pop, followed up by Brisbane artist Jake Whittaker with a mix of rock, surf rock, pop, ‘60s soul and funk alongside the very popular Slip on Stereo and Lisa Crawley.

Whilst in the precinct be sure to make a visit to Surf World, Gold Coast the home of fascinating exhibits and an extensive display of surfing memorabilia including surfboards, artwork and historic photos.

In addition, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is offering Adults at Kids Prices for entry into the sanctuary to anyone who mentions Bleach* during the month of March.

Through Seed, the QLD Conservatorium lets you experience the very best of emerging independent local artists.
