As the sun goes down, get ready to see the Southport skyline explode into a mesmerising array of light, colour and creativity with BIG CITY LIGHTS*.

Following a successful debut in 2022, BIG CITY LIGHTS* will return in 2024 to illuminate Southport with a cutting-edge self-guided program of audio-visual experiences, large-scale digital works, 3D mapping and unexpected projection sites. The immersive festival will see building facades and laneways transformed into hypnotic technicolour displays by leading local and national artists in the field of light, architecture and digital design. The family-friendly event will also feature live music and performances across Southport venues and public spaces on various dates.

BIG CITY LIGHTS* will take over Southport from June 21 to July 7, 2024.
