Beers and Bites Charity Night at Balter Brewing Company

Don’t beer lonely on June 27 – loosen up at the Beers and Bites Charity Night at Balter Brewery! Bond University second year Doctor of Physiotherapy students are running a charity event with proceeds going towards GGC Volunteers in Da Nang, Vietnam and the Bond University Kirakira Project in the Solomon Islands. Donations will be utilised to aid in purchasing essential therapy equipment and supplies for disadvantaged children in these two developing countries.

Come dressed to impress in your funkiest shirt! The event will feature special guest Bede Durbidge, who came second place in the 2008 ASP World Surfing Tour, with an exclusive Q&A session on his experience post-traumatic pelvic fracture and how physiotherapy guided his rehabilitation and return to surfing. Tickets are $20 each and include two drinks, an entry into the lucky door prize raffle, Q&A with Bede Durbidge, live music, and access to an all exclusive area. Food trucks will also be available on site to silence growling stomachs.
